Dorothy Germaine interview

The Provincial Normal School (PNS) was established in Victoria, B.C., in January 1915, to provide preliminary and advanced courses in teacher training. In 1978, Judith Windle conducted 19 interviews in which former instructors and students discussed their experiences at the Provincial Normal School. This interview is of Germaine discussing her time at the Provincial Normal School, in Victoria, B.C., as a student (1928-1929). Subjects include her first teaching position, and the staff of the PNS, including C.B. Wood, Mr. Freeman, Mr. Denton, Miss Riddell, Miss Isbister, Miss Coursier, and Stg. Bain.
