- Nov 21 Sunday. Two drafts more on poem about Self-Praise . 8 pages Belisarius (Chapter XX). Fog all day: walked to Hampstead. Wrote to Sir Kingsley Wood about demolition of my Harlech cottage. Jenny on the phone said that I was reported to have written to MacAlpine of Dorchester House accusing Brigadeer General Kentish of acting as a procurer to the Dorchester Girls.
