• Sept 8 Wednesday Finished going over chapter 1 of Swiss Ghost with Laura. Got the 12 pages of Belisarius I did yesterday ready for typing: and went off over typed chapter VII. Laura and I went to Guildford saw nothing hopeful: decided to go to Hampstead in November. Alix back in London from Germany.
