Film by Maj-Gen. E.C. Ashton, C.B., C.M.C., V.C., G.O.C., MD. XI. Photography by Lt. A.T. Stewart and Sgt. C.R.D. Ferris, edited by Sgt. Ferris. Film contains the following scenes: Enroute to Parade Ground; Maj-Gen. Ashton and Lt-Col. W. Bapty inspecting the troops; Second Battalion at Heal's Rifle Range (June 29th to July 1st, 1935); the Lewis Gun Crew; Col. Sargent, Lt-Col. Kingham and Major Snider having a discussion; Col. Sargent and Lt. Col. Bapty speaking with each other; Butt Party (i.e. carrying and resetting targets around a firing range); Drawing targets; "Manning the Butts"; Infantry Association Inspection; and then the inspection of the Battalion in Nanaimo.
