Letter from Walter Shewring to Herbert Read, October 13, 1946

Part of a collection of letters to Sir Herbert Read from Walter Shewring. Shewring is most well known for his translation of Homer’s “Odyssey”, but in addition to translating, he also wrote essays and poetry. In this letter, Shewring requests to be sent a collection of letters in order to compare them to the copies he has.
