Letter from Edith Wharton to Herbert Read, June 20, 1934
One of a pair of letters to Sir Herbert Read from American novelist and short story writer Edith Wharton. Wharton was the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize in Literature for her most well-known novel “The Age of Innocence”. In this letter, Wharton praises a book of Read's and writes that she may see him in London soon.
