Map of Proposed road between Head of Okanagan Lake and the Columbia River
PublicSeveral maps along with extensive notes about a proposed road between Okanagan Lake and the Columbia River in British Columbia. The notes discuss the experiences of those who have traveled this route previously and the challenges for the road at certain points. Dark relief markings, sketches, and notes show the land cover and land forms along the route. The largest map shows the whole proposed route starting at the south end of Okanagan Lake and traversing through a mountain valley and woods and ending at the Columbia River. Two smaller maps show routes based on indigenous knowledge one of a route up a mountain and the other called "Indian Map" is a smaller overview of the whole route.
