• Monday Oct 12 Honor came. Lunch at Prada: Honor, Tom & Julie, Karl (“returned unharmed” from Mrs Lloyd's,) Laura, Jenny & me. With Tom & Julie [:] To Hanan: to alter shoe, too tight. To Allen: to alter clothes & order a new suit bla(brown & heavy.) Tom ordered a suit. Paid 3.15 for Jenny's photographs. Julie gave us an 1810 Baltimore lon silver spoon & Tom us a Dictionary of the American language Mencken. We sent carbuncle earrings to Jennifer (25/-)
