Letter from William Plomer to John Betjeman, August 29, 1947

Public

Part of a collection of letters to John Betjeman from William Plomer (British poet, novelist and literary editor). Plomer is glad Betjeman liked the talk he gave about him (for BBC?) If Betjeman approves of it being used as a preface, Plomer will let Joe Ackerley ("P.O.J.") know. Plomer also mentions that he has asked Hassall for a script for Betjeman.
