On Mt [mountain] in basin behind our McConnell
Cr. [creek] camp saw 18 goat as follows.

The nannies + kids were feeing among
the willow at the top of the slide
Kills:- Found remains of a goat sex
+ age not determinable
This animal had been eaten by
a grizzly - 2 piles of dung containing
goat hair nearby.

Meas [Measurements], 56" [inches], 6" [inches], 13 3/8, 4 1/4. height 34 3/4.
This animal had had a kid + lost it.

Yesterday saw 2 goat feeding on a
low shoulder of Mt [mount] Clitheroe. While
I was still 500 yds [yards] away they took
alarm + fled to the rocks high
on the Mt [mountain] slope. Both [male symbol]'s.
