Spent the greater part of the day letter
writing + preparing for the warden
school. Saw 3 coyotes.

Warden school all day.
Saskatchewan Crossing May 22/45 [1945]
Drove up here seeing 1 coyote on the
way as well as many elk + 3 moose

Drove to mile 111 on the highway.
In the marshes near graveyards were
about 24 blue winged teal + one
sora rail. Many flocks of chipping
sparrows.
