Saw 2 coyotes between mile 18 +
Banff. One at a carcase [carcass] (elk)
that had been practically consumed
in 2 nights - doubtless by more
than one coyote.
Saw a coyote at MacKay Creek
in Kootenay Park.
All Warden reports in Banff
Park this year report an increase
of coyotes over a year ago.

E. [east] of town on the railroad track
