- Lulu Is [Island] B.C. [British Columbia] Jan [January] 4. 1941 Field near
dyke right side end of Blundell
Road. In company with R.E. Luscher
Saw about 300 of these birds, very
wild. They were in 3 flocks 1-40/50
2/150/175 + 3-75/100. Collected two
specimens, all males + each very
different in density of yellow plumage.
Gonads about 1 1/2 mm. [millimeters] In flight they
seemed to be displaying + chasing [?]
individually.
