Instead the muscles of the sub radula membrane are featured + the radula is pulled back + forth over the domed head of the cartilage + as it passes the teeth again spread + grasp inwards. Dolichoglossa [underlined] ex [example] Buccinum [underlined] or Patilla [underlined]. Have a large buccal mass with 4 prs. [pairs] of cartilage tightly linked by muscles and many other muscles of protraction. The radula teeth are immoveable on the membrane + cannot open + shut. The radula is held firmly on the tip of the cartilage + this is forcibly protracted + pushed forward thus using it as a rasp The tracks made are thus forwards. The teeth are much more complex.
