Drove up here from Banff today. Left
Banff 7:30 AM + as a result of engine
trouble en route did not arrive in
Jasper until 5:30. Fine, hot day.
Distance covered 185 miles.
Game seen.

Drove back from Jasper stopping
off at the Saskatchewan warden station
to ride up the Howse to the junction
with Glacier Creek. There examined
a white cliff goat lick. Near the
old Howse Cabin there is a pool
some 50 yds [yards] long that is evidently
a well patronized moose lick
