Monashee Pass B.C. [British Columbia] June 23. 1937. Alt. [Altitude] 4000'
[Ian McTaggart] Cowan took a fine ad [adult] [male symbol] in early morning + in
afternoon I found a [female symbol] sitting in a spruce in dense
growth. Secured it with the aux [auxiliary] 410. When shot it
flew about 50 yards down hill + caught in the branches
of a spruce, about 20 ft [feet] above ground, fortunately I was
able to shake it down.
Mt [Mount] Revelstoke B.C. [British Columbia] July 20/37. A [female symbol] ad. [adult] taken by
[Ian McTaggart] Cowan about 3600 ft. [feet].
