Monashee Pass B.C. [British Columbia] June 24th 1937 4000'
Several came about camp + of those
Cowan collected three, all more or less
buff bellied. One little fellow with
a black scar on left side became
very tame + would eat out of Joyce [Cowan]'s
hand. Collected two [male symbol] + [female symbol] by
roadside near summit.
June 25. 1937 Three trapped
on rock slide in rat traps baited with
oatmeal + set for conies.
These very buff beneath -
much more so than those collected
yesterday afternoon.
June 27./37 One in trap + two shot : a
[female symbol] on stump, east side of River + a [male symbol] in Rock slide
Both very buff bellied.
June 28/37 Two in mouse traps this am [morning]
Mt [Mount] Revelstoke Park. July 1. 1937 alt [altitude] 6300'
Three seen in slide east of Lookout. [Ian McTaggart] Cowan
took two females during morning.
