This circular censer has three gilded rings,
which separate two bands of floral scrolls.
There are six-petalled flowers in dark red,
yellow, pink and dark blue, on a turquoise-
blue ground. The three bulbous feet have
floral designs and ruyi lappets. In the centre
of the plain blue base, with wire outlined
floral scrolls, is a raised plaque incised with
seven characters running horizontally list-
ing the reign mark of Qianlong (1736-
1795) : da Qing Qianlong nianzhi, hi.
