Drove from mile 134 to Chimney L. [Lake]
then out to Springhouse + part way
back to the lake via the valley
road + out again by the Onward
Ranch road. The latter rough
+ very wet, deeply rutted.
Near Chimney Lake a small
lake held.
Ruddy + 3 [1], 8' Mallard [1] Mallard 16 ads [adults]
Gold [goldeneye] + 5 [2], 7 [2], 5 [2], B.W. [Blue-winged] teal 1 ad [adult]
Baldpate + 3 [2]
Scaup + 8 [1]
On a small slough near Springhouse
saw Canvasback + 3
Scaup + 5

Came in here today + set up camp.

The boys, Allan [Cecil] Brooks + [Roger] York Edwards
arrived from Anahim L. [Lake] today so
we went into Williams Lake to get
them as well as a load of supplies
