• Sandhill Crane. Chimney Lake, B.C. [British Columbia] Aug [August] 16/48 [1948]. We have seen or heard cranes almost every time we have been up to the Chimney Creek meadows at the head of the lake. There seems to be a group of 3 + a pair. One of the group of 3 is the largest + is very rusty in color.
