- 22 Vase h: 8.8 cm, Qianlong (1736-1795)
The wide concave lip of this blue and white spittoon-shaped vase is decorated with four floral scrolls, and the underside of the lip has a ruyi head border. The bulbous body is painted with four large flower-heads on continuous scrolls with buds. There is an overlapping leaf decoration around the tapering base.
23 Vase h: 13.3 cm, Qianlong (1736-1795)
This square vase, shaped like a mallet, is decorated with chrysanthemums on one side and seven Chinese characters and seals on the other, in underglaze blue and red covered with a pale bluish celadon glaze. There are two lion masks in relief on the neck, and a six-character underglaze blue seal script mark of Qianlong on the base with a brown slip footrim.
