Small buck: Salal 27% Mushroom 27% Usnea 23% Cedar 7% Bracken 7% grass 3% Fir 3% Fir bark 3% alder 1% Hawkweed 1% Maple + flat lichen a trace 12 pebbles in abomasum. Fir bark probably taken while eating usnea. Larger buck. Salal 83% Mushroom 9% Cedar 8% Several pebbles. Bone eating Found the remains of the skull of a button buck from which the buttons had been gnawed + parts of the nose region eaten by deer. The skull of an old buck had been consumed except for top of cranium + bases of antlers
