- Westwick Lake Saturday, July 16, 1955 Weather: fine I went to town to get duplicate kitchen equipment. Mickey Herrick finished moving us down in the pickup. We slept out around a campfire at night. Westwick Lake Sunday, July 17, 1955 Weather: fine We finished settling in camp in the morning. There were at least 40 people around. We had a wonderful Cariboo campfire in the evening with guitar and fiddle and singing and square dancing. Westwick Lake Monday, July 18, 1955 Weather: fine Nancy [Mahoney] started building a blind for Westwick marsh. I went to town and bought canvas and groceries.
