Mr Richardon of Tlell tells me
that there are quite a lot of marten
taken hereabout. Something like
100 a year. Last winter fetched
as high as $65.

Mr Harry Bevan who traps this area
tells me that most of the marten
are dark + fetch a pretty good
price. Up to $40 last winter for
large dark [male symbol]'s. He has taken up
to 20 a season but has not
done so well recently.
