Queen Charlotte City Aug. [August] 6/46 [1946].
Shot a yearling male that
measured as follows.
Total length 1370, tail 180 h.f [hind foot] 135 [crossed out] 420 ear 135
shoulder 680.
Weight 78 lbs [pounds] entire.
good condition lungs contained 1
tape worm cyst, 1 Cysticercus
tenuicollis [underlined] on omentum + one
tape worm cyst in liver tissue,
deep. No lice or lipoptena.
Left ear bore an inner surface
distally an area of raised, pigmented
almost hairless skin about 30 mm [millimeters]
in diameter.

A young buck + doe came along
the beach to the creek mouth while
Charlie [Guiguet] was washing clothes there. He
wounded the buck with 7 1/2 shot
+ then called me. I shot the doe
then tracked down + shot the buck.
Both seem to be in good condition
with fat in the mesenteries +
on the brisket.
Parasites:- Doe:- small roundworms
in abomasum.
Buck:- small round worms in
abomasum + several cestodes in the
small intestine.
