at 9 AM + getting back at 6 P.M.
Bright day with strong wind
from N. [North] East.

deer. 12 [female symbol] 7 f. [fawns] 10 [male symbol].
Range:- Range very badly overgrazed all
the way down.

Cloudy + cold 40 [degree symbol] with high north
wind.
Drove up the Miette Valley to Yellowhead.
Do not notice much change in the
condition of the range. Willow is well
browsed with an increasing amount
dying each year.
Heavy elk browsing outside the
park at Yellowhead.
En route up saw. (17 miles) saw
11 elk.
3 deer
1 bear.
