Saw + shot one of these about
10 miles up the Medicine Lake
road. It was in the roadside
rubble + went off through the
Jack pines when disturbed.

Have not yet seen a chipmunk
of this species west of the Athabasca
Valley + only one on the west
side of the river S. [south] of Snaring.
Saw a pair on the Maligne
Horse range.
