- In evening shot a 2 year old
[female symbol] Mule Deer. Moulting, Muzzle
had new hair + patches on the
neck. Whole body colour very
pale grizzled brownish gray.
Brisket darker but not much
Weight appr [approximately] 100 lbs. [pounds] Had
great numbers of biting
lice on the underparts, lung
worms in bronchi + some
of the bronchioles, but no
flukes or intestinal worms
Meat in good condition + very
tender but not fat. Eating
Willow, aspen + alder leaves
also that red barked Dogwood
it seems to be a favorite.
