Gutting Salmon

then strike off the Back fins,
then the Belly fins, then one
long rip with the Knife, to open
the belly, rake out the guts
and lastly, cut off the tail.
Then they are shoved into a
tank of clean salt water and
are taken out by the cleaners,
indians, who again clean out
the little remaining guts.

in length and 2 1/4 in width, mark
out the length and width thus.

porcelain crucible over the flame of
Whooping a spirit lamp, so as to impregnate
Cough the atmosphere of the room, which
causes it to form the vapor of Carbolic
Acid. A fire brick heated Enough to
vaporize the carbolate will do as well

10 parts Sulphide of Carbon, with one
Leather of oil of Turpentine, and add Enough
Cement gutta percha to make a thick liquid.
Clean off all grease, put cement on
both pieces and pressure till dry

Nitrate of Silver Stains
To remove such stains or to Erase the
marks on Linen or clothing, wet it
Casutic with a solution of Bichromate of
Stains Mercury. This changes the Black Nitrate
into chromate of Silver with is
white as the linen written on.
