Take 1/4 cup of strong Vinegar
Crumble finely into it some
bread. Let stand 1/2 and hour, or
until it into a good poultice
Then apply on retiring at night
In the morning the soreness will
be gone and the corn can be picked out
If it is a very obstinante one, it may
take 2 or 3 applications to cure

and inside walls; on fencing and
angles and finishing around wood
or stone work, not more than 1/2 can

Storm Glass
Dissolve 1 ounce each of Nitre
and Sal Ammoniac in 5 ounces of
water and let it cool. Dissolve
3 ounces of Siprits of Wine, 2/3
ounces of good camphor. Filter the
solutions and gradually pour the
solution, with constant stirring
until a Slight permenant precipitate
is formed. Pour this liquid into
the tube and draw out the latter
so that only a pin hole remains open

To remove a cinder or any foreign sub-
stance from the eye, hold the lid of the
affected eye and blow the opposite side
of the nose. This will prove successful
nine cases out of ten unless the particle
has become imbedded in the eye.
