Her machinery was removed and placed in the Moodyville Mill. She was made into a sailing Bark and afterwards sold in Australia. --- Ship Cape Clear --- Bark Don Nicholles --- Bark D.L. Clinch --- Ship Empress Eugenie --- RIGHT PAGE 157 Steamer Idaho Went on to Chain Rocks while in charge of Pilot Pamphlet. Got off. --- Bark Envoy Got ashore off McAuleys Point while in tow of the Isabel [struckthrough and corrected] Diana Was hove down and repaired --- U.S. Man a War Swanee Was bound for Sitka under pilotage of Capt [captain] Cooper. Ran on a rock in Shadwell Passage just above North end of Vancouver Island. Broke up and became a total loss. Most of her guns and gear was saved, but all her hull and machinery were lost. --- U.S. Man a War Saranac Wood. While bound for Sitka under pilotage of Capt [captain] Bill George she struck the centre rock at Seymour Narrows and sunk at once. All hands saved. Vessel a total loss with all her storres and guns. Sunk in about 40 fathoms water and a fearful tide running. ---
