Oak Bay Community Green Map: A guide to Oak Bay Treasures

A map marking sites of cultural, ecological, and historical significance in the District of Oak Bay. Includes two inset maps of the Trial Islands, Chatham, and Discovery Islands. Scale varies on inset maps. Reverse of map features sections on Oak Bay's history, Indigenous history, settlers; as well as sections on ecosystems and nature in the water and on land; and information on the Community Tables: Engaging Neighbours initiative and its visions and actions. Also includes a discussion of sustainable transportation; the Bowker Creek Urban Watershed Renewal Initiative; and a list of community resources and groups. Many community members contributed to this project, a number of them, along with sponsors and other contributors are named on the map itself. This map is part of the green map system.
