The Voice of Women (VOW) was a democratic, non-partisan organization which sought to unite women throughout the world. Shortly after VOW was founded in Toronto in 1960, branches arose in every province, including British Columbia. Their goal was to promote mutual respect and co-operation among nations, protest against war or the threat of war and to stimulate and inform the general public. B.C. Voice is the newsletter of this organization.
