Part of the Archie Wills illustrated autobiography. The front of a formulaic postcard created by the military. Archie Wills writes in a typed caption, "The Field Post Cards below were a blessing to a soldier as it simplified his writing chores. All you had to do was make crosses after required items. No girlfriend looked with favor on this form of correspondence."
