Part of the Archie Wills illustrated autobiography. Infantry advancing up a road in Cambrai, France, 1918. Wills writes a description of this image in a typed caption at the bottom of the page "The Canadian Corps experienced some of its most vicious fighting in September, 1918, and the Arras-Cambrai Road was the scene of much of it...The other top picture shows entry into Cambrai after we had battered it to pieces."
