Pacific Opera Victoria's world premiere production of Mary's Wedding composed by Andrew MacDonald, based on Stephen Massicotte's award-winning play. In partnership with University of Victoria Archives and Special Collections, The Canadian Regiment, Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians), and the Canadian War Museum. Creative team: Artistic director Timothy Vernon. Executive director Patrick Corrigan. Starring Betty Waynne Allison, Thomas Macleay and Alain Coulombe. Conducted by Timothy Vernon. Directed by Michael Shamata. Set and costume design by Ian Rye. Poster design by Curt Yoder Collective with photographs by Jo-Ann Richards. Performance dates: November 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20th 2011 at the McPherson Playhouse, Victoria, BC.
