Letter from Sir William Orpen to Lady Beatrice Glenavy (Or-07)
PublicOne of a collection of 36 letters all illustrated with ink or pencil sketches. Most are addressed to "Bridgit" from "Dijit". Scene of different people in a room, with a man running away. Orpen notes that the man is either running "away from temptation" or "to get a drink". He mentions there are good portraits of Richard and the model in the sketch.
