From 11 o'clock all deer were bedded. At 2:15 two very large bucks were bedded in the sun on an open knoll on the lee side, both had their heads down wind. Two young does with [word crossed out] near them were browsing in desultory fashion then lay down facing same way. Another small deer bedded opposite way.
