This journal includes two parts. The first part is the field journal of summer work in Rockies and Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) with index in front by Ian McTaggart-Cowan. Species are organized alphabetically with mammals under genus and birds under vernacular. The second part is the typewritten journal entries about Haida Gwaii in 1920 and 1936 by Brooks Allan. List of food plants collected and of parasites taken are given on last two pages.
